We are just buying a new(second hand) house, if the old owners didn't apply of the grant can we do it now or is it too late?

    Hi Anthony,

    Thanks for contacting us.

As part of the water conservation grant process, Irish Water requested that all customers and non-customers of Irish Water register their details with us by June 30th 2015 to qualify for this years' payment.

As this years' deadline has passed, you won't be able to receive the grant for your new property this year. If you registered your details by June 30th you will be eligible to apply for this years' payment for your current property.

Once you move into your new home, we would suggest that you contact us on 1890 448 448 to update your account details and ensure that you are eligible to receive future grant payments for your new property.

We hope that you find the above helpful. If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Amy.
