Just wondering i signed up for a free month of Netflix picking the HD option to avail of it. Question is am i missing out on content in it? Surely whats available to watch now is not the whole catalog? I mean any search i use yields nothing. Say Alien or any of the sequels or maybe Top Gear only 2 specials? Is that really it?

You're not missing out on anything with the free trial.

People who 'go on regular holidays' get to avail of a lot more worthwhile content. But, honestly, it's only like €2 a week, it's not going to break the bank and most people pay to have Netflix just for their original TV shows alone which a lot of are brilliant.

 - If it's top gear repeats you're looking for, you should head over to Dave

Netflix is very mediocre for movie content in my opinion but has tonnes of brilliant TV series, both their own as well as others. It's fantastic value considering the quality of programming you get.
