Yes and planning got. They have a system where they have a price for everything you uild and you get points for however many euro you can come under their quote. Then in the case of over subscription the people with the most points get approval.

If it's undersubscribed and you have 0 points you can still get approval..

From my reading, you don't necessarily need quotes in writing, you could guesstimate and enter that as your proposed cost. I suppose it would make things more accurate alright, but if you have a number of suppliers in mind and you haven't made up your mind on which one to use you could put in something close to the reference cost I think it would be ok

Just looking at the list of eligible items, Automatic Slurry Scrapers are included, under the sub structure heading it says "No scraped passages".........any ideas what they mean here? Can you apply for replacing existing scrapers in a cubicle shed?

"No scraped passages" actually means the number of scraped passages.

Hoping to apply for the grant this tranche for slatted tank, but my capacity for slurry storage is not enough for current stock level so was wondering is there any way of going around it? Have looked to rent a shed but can't seem to locate one as there could be no other stock in it as no movement certs done my end. Any ideas or will I have to go ahead outside the grant?

Can you put some down as being out wintered? There is a facility to input that when filling I the application.

If you know anyone that would have spare capacity you could export to them.

You can outwinter some stock, iirc, but if you have a shed for storing straw/hay it can be used for straw bedding figures which would be a big help in reducing your storage needs.

Would you need feeding facilities for storage shed though such as feed barriers or that? Not sure about exporting, that's what I was thinking but is it too late for this winter? Have a planner doing it, he says renting a shed is the best bet but haven't mentioned exporting it.

    Would a round feeder do?

Neighbour has a straw storage shed with a round feeder, never an animal in it but it gets him over the hump till he can upgrade his storage.

I applied for a TAMS allocation for cubicles to replace straw bedding.

Neither of us have trouble complying with the storage rules, it's just another box to tick.
