    folks,

I am trying to warmboard a wall that is a total mess with wall paper.

So my question is, as a one man band diyer, is it easier to clean down the walls and dot and dab or, leave the wall as is and use all mechanical fixings ?

    thanks

Do not dot and dab as it leaves air gaps and defeats the purpose of insulating the wall.
One the wall is reasonably straight just drill and mushroom fix

Metal mushrooms all the way. If your paranoid like me scrape the paper off in a load of places and put tek7 on it

Definitely use mushrooms but whats the point of using Tec7 and where on the board did you use it?

wall paper is cellulose and as its on the cold side of the insulation moisture will condense on it , and as moist cellulose is the perfect breeding ground for mould you will get a large mould growth .
