CPC module done after deadline - any consequences?

I hold C and D licence, and I was doing one CPC module every year before 10th September (since 2009).
This year, I was planning on doing one next week, but due to some circumstances, I won't be able to, so can only do one week later (which will be after 10th September). This is past deadline.

Now - I won't need to drive any trucks or buses, between 10th Sept and the day I'll do my CPC. Does that mean that I'll be grand, or is there any consequences of not meeting the deadline?

Just let RSA cpc unit know the reason for non compliance and everything will be ok. Do this after you have done the module and its recorded on the system.

This used to be the case but if you check with the RSA , they will let you know, simple as an email to them, no need for phonecall and you have proof if it ever comes back on you.
