    Aircraft on fire in hangar. Airfield closed while fire cover is engaged.

    Emirates are good but they don't do time travel, Etihad is the morning flight it is the one that has diverted, clue is in the OP (due in at lunch time).

    Two whisper jets apparently - statement seems to say both are fine, but will obviously need to be fully checked out.

    Avro RJ85 and an A321 apparently.

    I think it was the Congolese aircraft that impounded in DUB at the moment.

    Presumably the former Alitalia A320 (EI-DSN) that is on its way to Congo Airways as 9Q-CKD which is currently listed as;

    "in full colour scheme at DUB 23 AUG 2015 prior to delivery but temporarily impounded".

    Looks like Congo Airways had another ex-Alitalia A320 pass through Dublin for painting last month.

    Id be more worried about having my aircraft covered in paint stripper when this happened. That stuff can wreck a aircraft if left on too long, that's before you consider that they won't e painting in there for a while.

    Correct. The A321 (OE-IAL) has been at Dublin since it arrived on 6 March. It appears now to be in preparation for a new operator.

    I might have missed it, but was the actual cause of the fire reported?
