Hi my friend has left it extremely late to book her wedding band and now can't get the band I am using. Anyone being to a wedding where These guys played, pm me either.

    Hi there!

I just had a peak on WBA (Wedding band association) and 'Firestar' are listed as one of their members.

Have you got in-touch with the band at all to see if they are available? I suggest you throw WBA a quick email and query it with them about that particular band, they will inform you if there had been any previous issues.

Best of luck, keep us updated :)

Thanks will get her to do that. She has them held and has to make up her mind- I dnot think she was thinking about whether there would be an issue with them but whether they are good. I will keep ye updated

    No problem at all.

I have no experience on them myself but going by their website/testimonials etc... there shouldn't be a problem with quality.

Drop a line on this thread also, I'm sure there are a few couples who have had experience with them : http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054955045

    Best of luck :)

Tell friend to view any band before booking.
Their set list and stuff seemed good, just not exceptionally executed. But they were a grand cheaper than the band we booked so I guess its a case of you get what you pay for.
We booked The Best Men but they are high demand so unlikely to be free. However, their management has a few bands on the books so might be worth contacting. Also, the sticky at top of the page could be useful

Check out The Rubix band. I booked them for my wedding. They are very good and not over priced either.
