sore gums - dentist or doctor?

Background - I've had tonsilitis for the past week. Only clearing up now. After about a day of the sore throat, I started to get a lot of pain in my gums, especially the four corners of them. 4 days later and its still here, hasnt gone away with the tonsilitis (mix of nurofen and antibiotics to clear it up). Ive used warm water and salt, and antiseptic mouthwash for the gums, along with bonjela but to no effect for the gums

anyway, even whe i close my mouth now, my teeth dont seem to be in the same position they were. I have one wisdom tooth fully grown, other 3 havent broken skin yet.. Wisdom teeth seem to be a possible reason for pain, but it seems very very coincidental for all four corners to start hurting as i get tonsilitis too. I'm wondering who I should be going to see first, a doc or a dentist?

It's not uncommon for wisdom teeth to flare up during or after another infection as you would be run down and more susceptible...
Having multiple wisdom teeth flaring up at one time is a little more unusual and could point to a more depleted immune system etc.
    I would go to both.
Dentist/ oral surgeon to get antibiotics for the wisdom tooth infections and to arrange removal and gp to have some blood tests...

    All the best,
    Os
