VTOS payment normal wait time query

I am starting a VTOS Course next month & am wondering how long the transfer from JA to VTOS takes. When I signed up I never asked as I assumed it would be done like FAS (ie 1-2 weeks) but I gather there is more red tape to process for VTOS.
