Employee Number / P60

I'm starting a new job next week and my boss has asked me to bring me 'employee number'? Is that my PPS Number.

Also, I don't have a P60 from my last job. I wouldn't know how to contact my last boss. Im fact, I think he's emigrated. What are my options? Can my company find a way around that?

    Thanks.

  • You need the P45 from your last job, not P60.

But, if you get the employers tax number you can ring Revenue along with having your PPS number they should sort out your tax.

Employee number, the only thing it could be is your PPS.
