Automatic car dealers in Dublin/Jap Imports?

Hey guys,
Can anyone recommend to me a place (in Dublin preferably) to get Automatic cars? I am looking for a small car (maximum 1.4 litres) with a budget up to 1,500.

I also would love recommendations of where I might be able to browse through Jap imports of similar specifications in Dublin.

A dealership/auction/secondhand sales lot that the poster has experience or knowledge of would be great. The make and model of car is unimportant as it will be just a fun run-around so as long as it functions, I'm happy.

Ah right sorry. I had seen a few second-hand automatic cars from dealers online for around that price. Was just looking for someone's suggestion for a physical lot that would have a lot of them to browse in person rather than the odd one down the back

Your not going to get much in the way of dealer warranty on a €1500 car.

Also small automatic cars are rare enough so they hold their value very well. You might struggle to find a decent on for €1500 even from a private seller.

If I was to get a loan for it, what would you say a reasonable amount would be to spend on a small automatic? It's just for learning to drive in so doesn't need to be flashy or anything. But I would like to go for an entry level car that is known for being reliable as well if possible.

Does it have to be automatic? You would be better off learning in a manual car and doing you test in a manual car. Because if you pass your test in an automatic car your license will only allow you to drive automatics whereas if you pass your test in a manual car you can drive both manual and automatic cars.

At that money you should pick up a decent micra. Just check the sills and cross member for rust (no biggy to repair but easier get a good one that doesn't need repair or has been done)

*definition of reliable = k11 nissan micra
