Hi. I need to lodge a cheque to my account but I won't have time next week. Can I ask someone else to lodge it to my account? The bank is Ulster bank! Thanks :)

Yes, anyone can lodge anything to your account. It happens all the time with (e.g.) tenants lodging money to their landlord's account. They only ask for ID when opening an account or (sometimes) when making a withdrawal.
