Would you install a HRV unit without a summer bypass?

Mine has no summer bypass. But this was because I wasn't aware of the summer bypass at time of purchase and 1st fix installation. So cant go back now

Just open the windows in summer if it gets too warm.

Have had a mvhr since 2008 without a bypass. Haven't had a problem. We turn it off for summer and use windows etc as normal. Simples:)

Whats your forecasted ACH figure? If its anything less that say 1 then I wouldn't even consider an MHRVC without Summer Bypass.

Being honest in this day and age why these are on the market without the Summer Bypass is beyond me!

Especially in house where the occupants are getting older.
And looking at the weather yesterday, I think Ireland Inc is on a summer bypass
