    New articles reveal the without limits cooperation between NSA and a major US Telco, AT&T.

    EFF has some great commentary on these stories.

    In addition to the above, since NSA has also providers that cannot be forced or asked to cooperate (and why should they?), they ship their US-manufactured and ready-tampered fancy CISCO gear, with a firmware-level backdoor that boots the IOS - impossible to detect and remove.
