How long to get an offer

    Hi guys.
    So I went for an Interview this day two weeks ago.
    The following weds I went for a medical and Thursday/fri they rang my referneces.
    So its now a full week and no word back. Getting very anxious about it that I should of heard something by now

    Do you know they definitely talked to references?

    Depends on the employer really. There's no norm.

    If you're anxious, maybe ring them or drop them an email and ask how the recruitment process is going.

    Ya they definitely talked to 2/3 not sure about 3rd. They are using a external company for references and medical if that makes a difference

    There's no norm but multi nationals and large companies usually have much slower moving hr depts so it can take a while.

    I done a series of interviews for a multinational. 6 interviews, and a 3 week wait before I got offered the role. I declined as I had since taken a role with a smaller company who took 2 days between interview and offer.

    Ya the thing is I really want this one and I have been offered any role in the company I'm in. There is only so long I can hold off signing the contract in my current company. Always the way both things happen at the same time
