I haven't used either of these, but a brief look at the photos suggests that the HP has a proper hinge that allows it to be used like a standard laptop, whereas the Lenovo has a leg at the back that allows the tablet to stand up, and you have a separate BT keyboard. In theory the separate keyboard offers more flexibility, in practice it might be a pain if you're primarily looking for a device for taking notes in lectures, but I'd definitely check out YouTube for some videos of these devices in action before making a decision.

I got the X2 a couple of weeks ago (using it right now :-) ) . I really like it. Only thing is 32gb (edit, just saw the link is to the 64gb version) is proving a bit small. I upgraded to win 10 (runs great) but the option to have apps saved to sd card (I have a 64gb one installed) isnt activated on win 10 yet so I havnt installed a huge amount. I did delete the files from the win 8 installation so that frees up about 6 gigs though.

The magnetic connection between the tablet and the keyboard is really strong and secure but detaches easily to use as just a tablet but I generally dont bother.
