Merging Pdf's

Hi, can anyone recommend a piece of software that will merge pdf's for me?

I currently use Bullzip, but I can only merge them one by one using that. I want something ideally that I can drag and drop say 20 files into and it will merge the files into one document.

    Is there such a thing?

There are quite a lot of tools out there - http://www.wikihow.com/Merge-PDF-Files
If you have a Mac, Preview the built in PDF/Doc viewer works pretty well

I use PDFSAM, which works fine. There are others, but I can't think of them just now.

As far as I know, PDFSAM (PDF Split and Merge) still requires Java to be installed. For that reason alone, I'd be reluctant to recommend PDFSAM for most users.

I used to use a set of command line tools to do this sort of thing, PDFtk, but I see it's been updated now with some sort of GUI, but I haven't actually tried the new version, so I can't saw whether it's any good or not.

I just remembered that there's a feature in the PDF reader that I use, PDF XChange Editor. Under File/New Document, there's a "Combine Files into a single PDF" option. In the free version, a Demo stamp is added to this combined file when you save it (but not when you print it - even if you print it to a PDF file).

Might not be want the OP needs, but it might be an option for someone who only needs to do this occasionally.
The FREE download of the PDF-XChange Editor may be used without limitation for Private, Commercial, Government and all uses, provided it is not -: incorporated or distributed for profit/commercial gain with other software or media distribution of any type - without first gaining permission.

We use PDF Exchange Pro in work for merging of PDFs and other functions, does the trick, and that's installed on 500 systems
