2 questions for med students and former med students.

What are the best books for short case preparation?

What do you think is the best short case preparation strategy?

Best book by far is essential examination by ruthven.

Tally and O'Connor is a favourite among examiners as well, particularly the "blue boxes" in each chapter (lists of clubbing causes, etc)

Main thing is though is just to get a load of practice in on the wards and try to look like you've done each exam a million times before. They're looking for competence and confidence, not perfection.
