I recently failed my NCT on a worn ball joint so I obviously got it replaced.
My questions is will I now have to get the tracking done aswell or is it okay to put back through ?

You should get the tracking checked. It may well fail on alignment if you don't.

Wish I'd seen this sooner. Had a ball joint replaced and some other bits costing over 100 Euro after failing on the first test. Brought it back for a re-test today and failed on the side-slip.

I did mention the tracking to my mechanic after the first test but he didn't mention it again and it went out of my head so I've another re-test to pay for this week. :(
