    Hi Lads

Just wondering anything i need to look out for with these? Looking at a few online and they are quite reasonably priced for the fuel economy they have which is apparantly between 50-60 MPG?

    Thanks

That's actually an Isuzu designed engine that Honda fitted to the Civic as they didn't have their own diesel engine at the time. Watch out for the usual things on any diesel car of that age like worn flywheel, failing turbo and injectors. Service history is important as that diesel model was never officially sold in Ireland so any you are looking at will have originally came from the UK.

Watch out too for the unique diesel Type R models too, similar to the diesel Audi RS4. :D

Thanks a million for that reply. Would you prefer them to a similar year 1.5DCI Megane saloon? I know Renault havnt a great name but i know a guy who has one and he has 200K Miles on it, little or no trouble and is getting 65 to the gallon
