Hello everyone, I need a little help.
I am trying to get visa for my friend she lives over in Lithuania but has Russian Passport and she needs Visa..
I am trying to get Immigration Service number but can't find anywhere. And they don't answer me throught email, and I am kinda in a hurry to do things..
Do they have phone number or I have to do some sort of application through online?

    cheers
    Ed

All sorts of paperwork needs to be dropped into the embassy if it's anything like for Latvia.

you might be in a hurry, but i guarantee you that they are not. Gone are they days when visas were issued in a day.

Google "Irish embassy Lithuania" and follow the link. There is visa services section, your friend will have to fill in online application form and gather all necessary paper work and apply for visa in the embassy in Vilnius. You can arrange Letter of Invitation for your friend. In the Invitation you can specify if you are going to provide accommodation and financial support to your friend but even if you are not be prepared to submit 3months bank statements, prove of address, copy of your passport's 1st page and other documents. You ll have to indicate that your friend wont overstay their visa and wont become a burden in the State. Years ago there was an option for you to apply for visa in Ireland for your friend, but I think that option is long gone.
