Total Lunar Eclipse on 28th Sep

    For the insomniacs out there, there will be a total Lunar Eclipse visible from Ireland early in the Morning on Monday 28th September.

    Those times are UTC so add an hour for BST (summer time), partial phase (Moon enters Earth's umbra) begins at 02:07 BST.

    If the Weather Gods receive the appropriate sacrifices and are happy to bestow a cloud free morning upon us, we should have a very good view of the entire event.
