I got my welcome pack on Tuesday! I'm a mature student and accepted my offer in early July. I'd guess that you'll get it over the next week.

Nope and it's getting a bit frustrating now.

You'll get them by the end of the month. No need to panic. DCU starts later than most colleges.

It says on the DCU website that we get our welcome pack and stuff at the start of september

I was talking to the registry office at DCU today. They start rolling out the Welcome Packs from 3rd week of August, and almost everyone should get them by Sept 4. If not, we have to phone the Registry office. I suspect it depends on what round you were offered your course in. Mature Students already have theirs.

    Hi,

All on the same sheet, there's a short Welcome note, then info about online registration with instructions on how to register on the reverse. There's also info about username and password, DCU email, student ID card, what you're going to need to collect your card on orientation week. Don't lose that sheet, what with passwords on it. Then there's a schedule for orientation for all courses that folds out into one big long sheet and on the reverse, there's notes on each part of what's happening on orientation week. In my pack, theres a campus map for Glasnevin and St. Patrick's. Obviously, you get a different map to your course. There's also a guide for parents and guardians.

Thanks for telling me! That reminds me, I really want a student card, paying full price for things when theres a sign that says STUDENT DISCOUNT and my friends get the discount but I don't because I have no card hurts a little.

No worries. Yeah, the student discounts are going to come in handy. I've a few friends in DCU. They said that they're a bit strict with expecting students to produce IDs as well. And they charge for replacements. You're going to need a few things to get your ID, so make sure you're organised well. It'll be all in your Welcome Pack.
