    Hi,

I'm planning to buy this outdoor tap kit from amazon (http://goo.gl/Gkq3bv):

Would I be right in thinking that I can simply attach the flexi tap connector to the isolating valve (in front of the socket in the image), and thus not need to cut any pipes etc?

    Cheers for any help.

You could but the flexi is a smaller fitting. Screw a 3/4" x 1/2" 312 onto the valve under the sink ( put PTFE tape on the exposed threads of the valve under sink first) and your flexi will screw onto the 1/2" side of the new fitting. Be careful not to over tighten the flexi silver nut though.
