Hi there all,I got 12 of these candle holders in Dunne's recently to use as few ends for the church for my wedding.

I'm trying to think of ways to make them beautiful. Any suggestions?Thinking nice thin lace hessian to hang them but would love to incorporate flowers someway too. Trying to keep costs down by diying what I can.

    Hope link to picture works

I think You could actually use these as vases if you like. You could pop in a couple of roses, some baby's breath, bit of greenery and water and hang them from the pews with ribbon. I did similar but with lace covered jam jars and it was very pretty. A bit like this http://thelittlecanopy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/etsy-wedding-decors-diy-mason-jars-bellearmourdesigns.jpg

Or you could do a mini arrangement with floral foam and pop it in.

Alternatively you could spray paint them to match your colours. Ribbon could be glued to the top edge to match colours/theme

    These were my pew ends:

lanterns from Pennys hung on a piece of white ribbon
LED tea light inside each lantern (Meadows & Byrne, Dealz, Ikea...)
Organza (or is it Tulle....I'm never sure of the difference) bows
    Fresh ivy

    It was picked wild.
My Mam's friend very kindly did my pew ends for me (I supplied the lanterns & LED tea lights she supplied the ivy & bows and she made and hung them) so I don't know where she got it, she probably knew some old building or tree that had ivy growing on it....
