htc m8 stuck in recovery?

    Hey lads, i recently bought a cheap m8 because the guy said it would not boot up, after getting it is stuck in what seems to be recovery mode but every option i choose it just goes back to the same screen!

    on the top osf the screen it says TAMPERED and under that it says UNLOCKED
    Also s-on

    i can only assume someone tried to root or flash a rom and bricked it, is there any way i can bring this back to life?
    ive also put a sd card in it and when this is in when i press recovery it scans the sd card!!

    Hook it up to your pc/laptop and try to flash a custom recovery. You will need to install adb/fastboot on the laptop.

    Google will help you with the steps there.

    If you can install the custom recovery then from there you can flash a new ROM.

    ok have it on pc it opens up a command window! what next?

    You need to install adb and fast boot on your pc.

    Then go to this site and start from step 11
