Right folks a little late on getting this set up but hopefully there is a bit of interest. Plan on trying to set up a few threads in the hope to drum up a bit of interest around the biggest event of the year.

Rules:
1) People pick 12 athletes competing at World Championships
2) Each athlete is awarded points depending on finishing position during championships as follows

1st= 9 points
2nd= 7 points
3rd = 6 points
4th = 5 points
5th = 4 points
6th = 3 points
7th = 2 points
8th = 1 point

3) Points added up for your top 10 scoring athletes.
4) DQ and DNS/DNF will recieve zero as well as athletes who fail to make the finals. (points not awarded for heat placings)
5) If an athlete competes in multiple events they will only recieve points in their highest placed event .
6) You can nominate a team captain who will recieve double points.
7) Bonus points awarded for WR (3 points) CR (2 points) and NR (1 point) - highest points as WR supersedes CR and NR so 3 points max.
8) Lowest 2 point scorers only used in the case of a tie breaker. (11th decider and if still level runs on to 12th scorer)

I will organize something in terms of a prize for the winner.
