Read the brief this morning; not something I'd usually do:eek: but just as well I did.

The run has changed to 3 laps of a shorter loop, good to know for anyone expecting a repeat of the usual course.
Also the Cat1s are only off at lunchtime!

Had a quick read of the brief and must have missed that bit about the laps! Must read it again a bit more carefully.

Is the Cat1 race after the other races then?

It appears so. Cat1 should be getting out of the water 2 hours after the 8th and final wave starts.

Standard distance first then super sprint and then cat1.

    Cat1 have a briefing seperatly at 11ish

Also, Cat1 have a split transition - first by the water, second by the finish line

The bike course is comprised of an 8km lap on CLOSED ROADS. Cat 1 athletes will complete 5 laps in all. On the final lap, athletes will
continue on towards the Chapelizod gate and up Wellington Road to the T2 beside the finishing line. The total bike course distance will
be approximately 1km longer due to this change. Despite this full road closure, the usual rules of the road apply and athletes must
    obey Marshals/Garda for emergency traffic.
