C5 ball joint?

Hey I bought a 2003 c5 hdi yesterday, theres a clank from under the car going over speed bumps and the steering is a lil stiff and has a rattle in it with a lil play, I'm assuming its the lower ball joints from what I hear these cars are notorious for going on, its only 20 euros for a pair of ball joints on micksgarage.ie.…

Less than 100 I'd say.
I DIY these and it take less than an hour.
Ring a few local garages and ask.

A special tool is needed.
