Any suggestions for a good brass replacement head?
    Presta.
Both my floor pumps are nearly banjoed.
    Cheers.

I got this Topeak Smarthead Upgrade Kit on Wiggle. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/topeak-smarthead-upgrade-kit/?sku=4000000367

It is great, locks on solid with no leakage.

I replaced the head on my Park trackpump with one of these - find it works really well: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/topeak-super-chuck-pressure-release-valve/rp-prod4954
If you're in Dublin I know Expert Cycles in Rathfarnham usually carry them in stock!

Does this one fit easily on to an existing floor pump? Just whip off the old head and attach it?

Yep - 2 minute job. For the first while I found removing the head from the valve after inflation was a bit "sticky" but it got easier after a few uses. I've had mine for years now without issue.

No bother - the lads in Expert (they have them on all their track pumps) suggested that I put a tiny drop of oil on the rubber at the insertion point when it was new to make it easier to get on and off until it stretched a little!
