    All 4 fuel injectors failed at once. Car had 150,000 km. Has anybody encountered this problem?

    I'm going to assume you have the last of the facelifted mk2's

    Very common problem for injector failure, just not 4 at once... I've never heard that happen before. They can be an absolute nuisance to remove from the head too

    Are you sure it isn't something much simpler such as the in tank pump?

    I got them replaced by Toyota at the cost of €1300. Toyota gave no explanation as to why this happened.

    They are a known weak spot in those engines. Same with the egr.

    With both, I don't know why they fail so much
