    Hi All,
    1st post in here! :D

Anyway, I was with Quinn life for an equity based pension (Quinn Life Regular Premium Savings)which I administered myself.
Then it was all switched over to Irish Life, no issue.

So I haven't added any more to it since it was switched but THANKFULLY the fund (Biotech QLD) has performed very well and I am up over 250% since it switched.

So I was going to deposit funds, you can't do it online or bank transfer/electronically.
But they want me to provided certified ID and proof of Address by going to the Guards or Solicitor. I find this a bit mental as I am already a customer and I have a passport and licence with my name and address on them.

Is that normal practise? Makes it quite hard to deposit.

IS there an alternative to them with similar choice.

    Many thanks

New anti money laundering laws have come in which means you'll have to do this what ever pension provider you go with.

Yeah, the new rules are so tight that companies are expected to get documents even for existing customers.
