    Hello,

I have a Neato Botvac robot hoover which died after about 6 months of light use. It's out of warranty, and I was wondering if anyone in Ireland was repairing these appliances since I've tried everything simple that I can think of.

    Thanks!

I googled and found that there is a facebook page, might be worth asking there.

Unfortunately, they don't have a repair centre outside of the US, so they won't take it. I was wondering more if anyone know any hobbyists or whatnot who do these sort of repairs.

Might be worth cross posting onto one of the tech engineering forums, there may be a hobbyist there willing to have a go.

You don't say how old it is other than say it has 6 months work done, it may be down to a battery not charging or a battery not holding charge

It was new in the box when I bought it. Amongst the simple solutions I tried were swapping out the battery for a new one and swapping out the charging dock for a new one. Neither had any effect.

charge it up again and take it in to any vac repair centre near you, they may be able to find which sensor is not switching on
