    hi,

(ive checked the citizens info website and i know you can retain our card for 3 years if you were on the dole for at least 12 months beforehand.)

in the last 12 months i have been on part time sw, came off i for 10 weeks after taking up more work, left that work and was on full time sw for 4 months.
for the last month i have been in full time (temp) employment. it is agency work (i am in healthcare) so chances of me being fully unemployed any time soon are pretty low as i can work in various companies with the agency and take on overtime work if i wish.

im sure i know the answer but will i have to give up my medical card? and can they catch me if i use it anyway? ;)

If your medical card is cancelled then your GP is notified almost before you are and you simply wouldn't be able to "use" the card at all. The surgeries computer system would indicate that your card is no longer valid.
