Hi I'm currently unmetered as the stopcock is on private property
I'd prefer to not sign the waiver and stay unmetered if possible
My last bill was 40 for 3 months

Is there penalties for not signing thanks?

How much does it cost both ways approximately
Metered and unmetered for a single person house hold

    I got a bill for 40 for 3 months

Unmetered is preferable to faffing about collecting rainwater if possible

    Hi mikedoherty99,

The charge for an unmetered single adult house is 160 euro per year for both water supply and wastewater services, and is 80 euro per year for a single service.

Charges for metered properties are based on the volume of water supplied and are measured in cubic metres. The cost of water supplied is 1.85 euro per cubic metre. The cost of wastewater removed is 1.85 per cubic metre. You will pay no more than the capped charge of 160 euro per year for a single adult household.

You can find more information on metered and unmetered charges here.

    I hope this helps,

    Kind regards,
    Aaron
