So lads, what are your favorite mini games?

I guess by that I mean mini games other than from party games (Mario Party, Wario Ware, Rabbids, etc.)

    Mine are:

*Fishing in TLoZ Ocarina of Time (N64)
*Blitzball in FFX (PS2) - initially, I used to hate this, until I got the hand of it and then loved it!
*Pokemon Stadium mini games (N64) - can't say my controllers loved those mini games though...
*Jeff & Barry Racing in Jet Force Gemini (N64) - only for a few laps, there's not much more to it.

Probably there are plenty more I can't remember at the moment.

Gwent in The Witcher 3 looks good, havent played it though.

I like the knife game in Full Throttle

You can also play a similar game in Red Dead Redemption called Five Fingered Fillet

Or in Catherine, the arcade machine in the pub, Rapunzel :

Call of Duty: Black Ops - Dead Ops Arcade

The cooking minigame in Suikoden 2 was excellent. Travelling accross the globe, picking up new recipes and taking part in a cooking competition was oddly compelling.

Just found there are a few mini games inside Goat Simulator lol, on some arcade machines by the coast on a fair.

You can play snake, a block moving game, and a flappy bird clone lol.

Cool what game is that on?

The invaders seem to have found extra fire buttons too.

I was now remembering the other games on Ocarina of Time, although fishing was by far the best, the archery range, bombchu bowling and treasure room thingy were not that bad either. I remember spending so many rupees at those, lol. What a blast.

I should get around playing OoT 3DS, as well as Majora's... I'm just waiting to switch to an american New 3DS XL, finding the regular 3DS a bit too small.

Oh lots of games had it. Mostly budget ones. Definitely remember it being on a Judge Dredd game.

Just a pity its just fleeting levels though.

The original Donkey Kong within DK64 was great.
It was like being forced to drink horse p1ss but finding, for a brief period at least, that some of it tasted like a damn fine Shiraz. What a terrible game DK64 was.

Not a mini game really but more of a hidden game in a game.

Sharp X68000 has Syvalion hidden in Bubble Bobble or is it Bubble Bobble version of Sybubblun is hidden in Syvalion.
    Conflicting reports, can anyone clarify?

Not retro but I've enjoyed "squid jump" in splatoon a good bit lately.

I have seen more of that then most, being kicked out of multiplayer matches nearly every damn time!

I have a rather idiosyncratic broadband system, with links, fibre optics and routers before even reaching the eircom connection.
That, I fear is the cause of the dreadful connection to my WiiU.
Might be something that can be fixed, I'll have to work on it.

Some day bring the WiiU up to my house and we can have a look. I think its more down to the random ports it wants to open to the world for itself. No other consoles have issues on the network so its most likely down to the Nintendo and not the awesome free network/internet yea have :D

Yes, it is awesome, and so forth.
And lots of people have had issue with the nuts way that it seeks connection to the internet.

bomb-omb squad in the mini game section of Super Mario 64 DS. Very addictive if you are battling for a top score with someone else.

Do you remember the mini game Rats?! :) That was a very nice game!
