    Hi,

Race tyres I've used in recent years are Continental Grand Prix and Schwalbe Ultremo ZL and ZLX. Cannot seem to find them anywhere at the moment, they are either out of stock or for silly prices on the likes of ebay.

Anybody buy one recently and can forward a (in stock) link ?

Would also gratefully accept link to other high quality light tyre, not too pushed about puncture protection but if the tyre has some all the better ?

Got an e-mail today from Ribble for so.w sort of tyre clear out. With The Queens currency the way it is it may not be that good value though

Thanks, I'd checked out Rose, Chain Reaction and Wiggle and the GP4000 was listed as either out of stock or discontinued.

FYI link above coming out at 40E with postage included

Great stuff, decided to try a new manufacturer and went with the pro3 here in the end

Combination of price, weight and some puncture protection makes it worth giving the tyre a go.

If they are anything like the pro 4 they'll be great , I find the pro 4 grip really well and roll brilliantly, plus haven't punctured with them yet .

Gave up on continental grand prix due to numerous sidewall and construction failures. switched To Michelin Pro4 and love them. Raced on my spare wheels (last saturday evening in kilmessan in the rain )which have the Pro3's on them and couldnt fault them . Great value.

Grand Prix are still around last I saw was in B2R and think bike.

GP4000 may show up as discontinued as they are now on GP4000S II. Basicly an updated version. Many places finding it hard to keep in stock depending on the size you want. Think Rose are cheapest at the moment
