    I'm doing an internship as a cleaner but the role is dressed up as a fancy name.

    I am fully qualified but couldnt get work. I couldnt even get a jobbridge. So i took something so that it would be my foot in the door. It would also be a way to get back into the line of work. Even when fully qualified, cleaning is part of the job.

    I knew what I was getting into. I am in a building where i want to get work. Cleaning the canteen is a joke, is that even allowed on a jobbridge.

    It's a real step backwards in that, I am fully qualified. I got to do more things as a student on work experience. How do I dress this up in interviews as meaningful experience. I don't have the confidence.

    Does anyone know if they can change the duties as originally planned. Because they were able to increase the hours to 40 hours. Why change one part but not something else.

    I'm just a cleaner with a fancy piece of paper. I finished college a few years ago. What do I do. I have five months done, but this isn't experience.

    Are you saying the internship position you went for isn't the job you are doing now ?
