Hi - Hope you can help.

We are renting a holiday home in France  (old farmhouse) for 5 days with our extended family of up to 20 people. 13 Adults and 7 kids.

We just read that our owner is requested proof of liability insurance for the duration of our stay. It says:

"The tenant is required to be covered by a “civil liability” insurance, in order to be covered for the risk of theft, fire,
water damage and damage to the furniture, and must show proof of this insurance to the owner. You may be
covered for holiday rentals under a “holiday house” clause of the insurance contract of your main house. You must
ask your insurance provider for a certificate of insurance, and give a copy to the owner upon your arrival."

Do you offer such insurance for holiday rentals?

Also interested to hear if others have been asked to present this for holiday rental?

    Hi User_name_d
Unfortunately this is a type of cover that we do not offer. Currently we only provide Household Insurance within the Republic of Ireland. Sorry we could not help you further.
    Regards
