Wall could do with a lick of paint too.

And that carpet? Looks like a crime scene. Seriously rottie, I think we need to get Aggie and Kim onto this.

I'm glad you clarified those hairs belong to the dog- look scarily similar to other kinds of hairs....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,726 ✭✭✭Pretzill

Milipede or silverfish - it's actually hard to see between the dog hairs. I have dogs myself but that's why I got rid of the carpets and had wooden floors and tiles put in.

I got tired scrubbing their hairs off the carpets and breaking hoover filters - silverfish like a bit of damp ( any damp in the house?)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 354 ✭✭agent graves

Agree with sir osis.. def a bunch of pubes.. he must be crab fishing

Me too. I broke three brooms trying to get the dog hair out of the carpet and I eventually gave up and got vinyl. One of the dogs never forgave me and I had to put down some carpet squares specially for her to to have a scratch on.

    Defo Silverfish.

Where you see one or two, hundreds are beneath.

They are harmless enough, they do not bite, but are a complete b*tch to get rid of.

They love to eat starch. Seal up and cracks in the floor, and fix and leaking pipes or remove and fix damp areas, they thrive in there. Also, they hate light.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,325 ✭✭✭✭Dozen Wicked Words

And don't feed them after midnight.

    Pets in a rented house?

    That's your deposit gone so....

And it's a Silverfish, they love damp areas. Highly venomous mind.

That's some camera you have. Can see each fibre of the carpet.
I sympathize with the dog hairs. My dogs are only in the house sometimes and I find hairs everywhere.
    And yeah...silverfish...yeuch.

Looks like a fanny that has been zoomed in by 600%. Consequently, I'd say the 'bug' is a crab.

Yeah, silverfish. Normally found in a bathroom..they like it warm and moist!

This may help in trying to get rid....

It's a parasite that gets inside you takes over your mind makes you suicidal and jump under a train

seriously was watching a programme on bbc3 about parasites and such beasts exist in a animal kingdom.....it comes from a cat gets into a mouse and to get back in the cat it takes over the mouse and makes it head toward a cat to be eaten

Past two days I've removed two scorpians and a black widow spider from the house, there's nothing in Ireland to worry about when it comes to bugs. I've gotten seriously less bugphobic - I don't even shudder when I see a cockroach any more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,515 ✭✭✭Firefox11

This is why I keep the spiders happy in my house. Keeps these type of bugs away.

Definately Lepisma saccharina, commonly known as a silverfish.
