Hi All I'v just had fibre broadband install at my home, I'm with vodafone. when the eircom tech call to my home to install the fibre he says my line is capable of 107 MB, down and 30MB up he, asked me why have they cap you at 50mb down, and 20 MB up, so I got on to vodafone and they told me it because I'm 60 Meters from the exchange I'm to close and if my speed was put up it would cause an echo on line and my speeds would drop., I always thought the closer you were to the exchange the better, I would be great full on anyones opinion on this,

    Thanks.

    Guys
