23 degree rescue club

Can anyone tell me what equivalent degrees a 23 deg rescue club would be from a set of Irons.

My 4 iron is 23 degrees but lofts vary from set to set. Your best bet is to google the specs for your set of irons.

Between 4 and 5 iron but you should be hitting it a bit further.

Isn't a jigger more a club for chipping around the green?

You can use a rescue for that but it isn't its primary purpose.

Thinking about gettin one of these myself. I can hit my 4 iron about 165, but when i am into a breeze i really struggle with that distance (165-175ish yards) as i have to kinda baby a five wood. I also have a very high ball flight so i am thinking i maybe i can hit a 23 degree rescue with comfort into a breeze.

Might be worth getting one of the loft adjustable ones like the Taylormade SLDR which will give you one and a half degrees each side of the reference loft. So a 21 degree club can be 19.5 to 22.5 which gives you a fair bit to choose from depending on what else you have in your bag.

New out of the shop they're running at around €100, so if Done Deal doesn't work out...

Hybrids typically have a higher ball flight and more spin than their iron counterparts so I'm not sure they would be the ticket for hitting into the wind.

i got it along with a 17 degree - both second hand , played this evening and they were both real sweet to hit.

Id recommend
