    So the attacks in the past for cars in order to clone a key of your own would require under the bonnet access or even footwell acces to the ODB port. So now a thief can simply pre record your rolling key and walk up open the door , get in , connect the ODB key cloner and be gone in under 2 minutes wihtout the use of any screw drivers or convential tools that might alert the surrounding public that a theft is taking place.

    Broad daylight thefts of High priced cars just became as easy as taking candy from a baby.

    Hot on the heels of the Jeep hack, this is starting to become a dangerous trend.

    The saddest thing about all of this? How the companies involved still try to abuse copyright laws to stifle the (clearly needed) security research that would expose them.
