Garmin S3 GPS watch...battery failing.

    Hi folks,
    I have a Garmin S3 GPS watch which was bought in Dec 2013. I use it once or twice a week. At best you could get 2 rounds of golf before recharging. The battery performance deteriorated over time. Now I find that I cannot get even 9 holes from a full charge.
    I brought it back to the shop where it was bought and asked for a replacement battery. They told me that the battery was not designed to be replaced. It is is supposed to last for the lifetime of the unit. They offered to return the unit to Garmin for me to see if anything could be done or I could contact Garmin myself.
    Has anyone else had a similar experience and, if so, what did you do?

    Hi,
    Bought new battery on net for €20 had to solder it into watch.
    Small job watch working perfect.
