hi people I was just wondering about getting help and tips for fencing for sheep and cattle? What are the best posts, wire, costs?

Also what it the best way to have a good corner post and a good strain on the wire.
    Thanks

I cut and pointed esb poles for corner and gap posts , and used creaseoed posts for intermittent, 3mm high tension wire and all fittings off frs fencing , mighty job

Seen this on you tube for quick tightening of barbed wire
Can't see the wee thing that tensions it tho,
And I presume he should have started on the top strand for most leverage

Cattle alone has to be electric fencing, high tensile wire two strands along roads and one strand internal. Pressure treated posts and the best corner posts you can afford. Also an excellent earthing is ESSENTIAL!! Saw a neighbour spend a fortune on electric fence, never had it around the place before, did a decent job erecting it and couldn't understand animals walking under! Had it earthed with 1 tine off a haybob!!! We soon sorted it. Introduce sheep and you're gonna have to go with sheep wire IMO no other way. Then either barbed or electric on top
