So my 1 year old has suspected chicken pox.

He had fever and headache and off his food for the last few days, thought it was teeth but one pock has appeared today on his face.
He may have been exposed 2 weeks ago.

Anyway my sister has just had a baby and I'm wondering how long do I need to keep the toddler away from the newborn to avoid infection.

Once the scabs fprm over the sores they are generally safe.
