How many of the gentlemen here shave daily?

Was thinking about this earlier when dragging a razor across my face.

Does it hurt to shave daily? Being a girl, I know if shave any part of me daily it stings ðŸ˜

Normally get assaulted with hair cutters/then razor some morning when she decides a change is needed. Doesn't bother me.

Not a chance. Shaving doesn't bother me in the slightest just couldn't be arsed. Herself will throw a comment once a wk then I'll shave. I don't have to kiss myself sure!!

How many have moustaches/ beards is it a sign some one is too lazy to shave if they have a beard?

But the reason for that is that you are shaving more sensitive areas of skin. A mans leathery face is different.

Two and a half weeks now. Was seven weeks the time before that. I only had the shave in the middle because an elderly relation passed away and didn't want to look like a yeti at the funeral. I don't mind shaving but I am a bit lazy about it, particularly during the summer when the evenings are long and I am not in until later to get cleaned up.

Every pounce in the country has a beard now, it's a fashion statement. A bit like lads that will be supporting rugby in a few weeks.

I don't like being clean shaven, far too baby faced :p I try and keep it under control though with the razor

How many use shaving foam? I've given up on it just wet the blade and plough on

    (Not a farmer per se)

I had a goatee long before they were fashionable. When I'm making myself look 'nice' I shave my cheeks. Tried growing a full beard a few times but I got too hot, so I shave the cheeks once or twice a week.

I'm of the thinking it is what it is, laziness to keep groomed

Young lads are growing them thinking they are real men.

Spot on and it's because they are narcissistic and want to follow the fashion like sheep. Infairness it does say alot about fellas. I'd nearly guess the lads on here that have beards. :D

Shave about every 3 or 4 days here, every day too much I find. Always use foam, and 99% of the time it's while still in the shower (just at the end). I've actually never ever grown a beard ha, haven't really tried 2bh, but cannot get over the annoying stubble stage ha.

I sometimes shave everyday sometimes it could be weeks, depending on meetings or arrangements etc for work.

I have only ever used a proper razor once and that was when I was about 6 or 7 years old.

since I started to shave 17 or 18 years ago I have used electric rechargeable ones. Think im on my 3rd one and they were about €70 -€100 each

A pack of blades are €10 and do about 4-6 weeks im told. so €80/90 a year
im averaging about €15 a year and can shave on the go

Don't have to now, they are crawling out of the wood work already  Better be careful, will only encourage lads to start sticking up selfies of themselves. Those guys are as bad as 16 year old girls.

Oh right... So I grow a beard occasionally and support rugby I'll turn into a hipster esc cliche?! Right so Hanson better give DC the boot as to change smith and Lima would be silly, he couldn't even replace slade(no small task!) and had to play 12 for the crusaders. Must order up so beard oils now to do it right.

I've stubble the whole time. I get seriocis I think it's what it's called around my mouth in damp and cold weather so it's just handier not to go near it with a blade cause it drives it mad. Sometimes it gets close to beard stage but never really a beard.

I shave every day , might skip the odd day but I'm a sensitive little fella and find I can't get a good snooze with stubble rubbing on the pillow .

Shave week day mornings & have a beard by evening.
Leave the weekend to just before town, no point shaving twice the 1 day

For the day job I've to shave everyday. After a few days in a row it can become torture.

If I'm on leave I'd shave every 3 to 4 days as I have a serious beard growth......been compared to desperate Dan on more than one occasion :D

    Shave the head too ;)

Read in on of the Sunday papers that the whole beard trend was due in part To the recession.

"A beard grown after being laid off, due to the lack of need to maintain a certain caliber of appearance. The loss of job makes the unemployed male down in the dumps, and the laziness makes him less likely to shave. It is also a sign of a loss of economic independence "

been sporting a low milk price beard since those dark days of 2009.

I've a pair of phillips hair clippers for years, I use it to clip my beard every few days and it has heads to put on for cutting my own hair as well, some saving on blades and barbers :D

    Usually about twice a week....

Nothing more pathetic that gobsheens growing beards in an attempt to look windswept and interesting. Young fellas of 19 or 20 you can put down to the folly of youth, but aulder fellas..... tis sad.
