I want to change 400 euro into 5 euro notes, I'm not sure how to do this and if I can do it without a bank accunt, will I need to bring bank account details or is it easy to do, I'd like to hear from people who have done this before.

    Thanks

Walk in to any bank branch and they should be able to do it there and then provided they have enough notes at that time which they should.

Might be handy to give a buzz ahead and get them to hold some aside. From my days as a cashier I remember certain days of the weeks we'd get a lot of businesses in doing their coin and note orders, so we could sometimes end up short of fivers.
