I've just eaten a roll of uncooked black pudding and washed it down with 2 cups of tea and a packet of Jaffa cakes. Delicious.

What's your favourite lazy bank holiday food and am I going to die now?

You're never more than two clicks away from someone eating raw black pudding...

I'm seriously contemplating getting a Chinese later.

    Yes.

Black pudding is cooked when it is made, he means he ate it cold, not uncooked. Perfectly safe, and tasty.

Just devoured a durty sandwich comprising of egg, white budding, cheese and a heap of mayonnaise, damn fine

    Yes.

Had a Chinese on Friday but might have a pizza later.

I will probably have that cooked.

Microwave a soup, boil a pot noodle, open a tin of sweetcorn and mixed beans, mix together in one bowl. Call it chowder.

I'd say that looks exactly the same going in as it does coming out.

Not if it's a tomato soup. (Barring medical complications)

    Very nice. Addictive.

I'm after putting a Greek style lamb pilaf into the oven for a few hours. Going to relax and have a glass of Reisling while I'm waiting. Perfect lazy, no fuss bank holiday cooking.

I had ham, cheese and mayo on an Italian bread roll. Quite boring.

Now Diet Coke and Chocolate Kimberly time

I had ham and cheese toasties earlier.. yummy!

Thinking maybe pizza for dinner. Might as well enjoy the last day (and bank holiday for a while!) before the slog begins again in the morning.

I had two black pudding sandwiches and a grapefruit lucoazade for lunch. Thinking of getting a few cans in.

No, I don't eat ready meals. I'll take your word for it though. They wouldn't make them if people weren't buying them.

Looking forward to a 5oz smokey bacon burger and chips and a drink later on. Love my greasy hangover food.

Aongus, I noticed when you spelled the word Riesling above, you put the e before the i rather than after it. I'm assuming this was deliberate but just in case it wasn't and you just copied this spelling from off of the bottle, I suspect you may be drinking counterfeit wine an have unknowingly been the victim of fraud.
How can you avoid purchasing counterfeit wine? Be on the lookout for:

Cork tampering and/or Unusually high fill levels are often a sign that the bottle has been refilled

    Incorrect or uncharacteristic bottle shape

Errors on the label such as misspelling and font abnormalities

Ah you don't know what you're missing. My Butler always keeps the household staff on their toes. So whenever I'm feeling peckish, they always have a meal prepared for me ready to eat.

This morning I had two bacon medallion things with a boiled egg and wholemeal toast. Quick, easy, very boring.

Dinner is sweet potato wedges, a grilled chicken breast and some roasted veggies.

I picked it purely because I can just put it in the oven and collect it when it's cooked. Nice and easy :)

A filling fell out last night, and I had it re-fitted this morning (lucky to find a dentist on call).

Consequently, I'm on a kind of mushy gruel for the day, eating with my head tilted to the right.

Nothing wrong with the Riesling .......... but only if added in the cooking. Surely a nice Merlot would suit your pampered palate more? :D

I could drink a chilled (10*C) Riesling with fiery Turkish Meatballs 'though.

However, I hope you enjoy. Mahlzeit!

Always on a bank holiday. I've a toothache too since Friday night. It seems to be a law of nature.
