I get paid on Tuesdays and and going away for a week on Fri will next weeks payment be there on the sat if I go to collect it

It's always there for me if i leave it till Saturday, just make sure you get there before the Post Office closes

It's always there for you, but most post offices send it back at the end of the third working day, so Thursday evening.

Op, you're allowed a holiday while on the dole. All you have to do is pop in and say it to them, then collect your money when you return.
